Photographing the world around me since 1982. I started out with an East German Praktika manual 35mm camera, now accredited with Nikon Professional Services.

I live in a house by the sea with my wife, Lorraine, my three girls an adorable dog and two unimpressed cats.

I started out taking theatrical and movie still pictures. I was working in Berlin in 1989 when The Wall fell and Hong Kong in 1997 for the handover and documented both.

I like to cook, sing in a choir, act and wild camp out on the hills whenever I get the chance.

As well as photography, I love astronomy, archaeology and scuba diving. Next year I am planning to indulge all these with a trip to the total solar eclipse in Luxor, Egypt.
